Started at noon, ended at 3:30 pm when a rain storm came through. Started on the west side, ended east of Hamilton's. About 2/3 of the field completed. 43 gallons of fuel used. The field was not too rough even though it hadn't been worked since it was ripped last fall. Followed the planter rounds as I had ripped on an NE to SW angle. 9th gear, 1400 rpm, 5 mph, 60% engine power. Soil was very dry.
