Returned to finish discing down corn stubble. Received about 0.8" of rain since last discing, Saturday 5/25. Conditions for field work were ok in the south end of the field but the north end and by the woods were not favorable. The surface of the wet areas were dry enough for Big Blue to get through without mudding up tractor tires or spinning out. Ragweed was thick in sandy, not as wet areas. Mare's tail was tall and thick in the east side by the woods in the wettest area. 1900 rpm, 4.5 mph, 8th gear. Disc tires had to be scraped clean before leaving the field. Rain started again 30 minutes later. Work done from 5p-7p.
