Rented Danny Cleveland's 15' drill and International 5088 tractor to plant Pioneer 36T36X XTend beans. Population around 190,000. Ground was very hard, some beans bounced out onto the surface and depth was varied. Soil surface did not close well over beans that stayed in rows. With rain in the forecast that evening, we hoped it would close the soil in around beans. Ran from ~2:30-8:30 PM. Rained out. 43.5 acres planted.
